As UndertheChristmasTree predicted way back at the start of the year a host of  The Hobbit toys including construction sets, action figures and more are due next month.
Just in time for the release of the film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which hits UK cinemas on December 14th, and is the first in the trilogy of prequels to The Lord of the Rings trilogy you can expect the hobbit kids toys to keep on growing.
Collectibles, role-play toys, action figures and even Lego based hobbit sets are due to roll our from now until December.
UK toy group Vivid Imaginations will be including a series of 17 blind-packed collectibles miniature figures (rsp: ÂŁ1.99), A range of 3.75-inch scale action figures.
Also included in the line up will be two-packs and sets containing a figure and a villainous creature (rsp: from ÂŁ7.99 to ÂŁ29.99).
Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey and Thorin Oakenshield will also be available in six inch scale, these will be aimed at the collectors due to such intricate design.
Vivid Imaginations will release two roleplay toys – a battle axe with a foam blade and a plastic sword with motion-activated battle sounds, glowing light and Scabbard.
Lego The Hobbit are rumored to include : The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which will have six minifigures, the hobbit-hole playset and loads of accessories.
