Traditional Christmas Panettone gets a Easter twist from Waitrose

Panettone is NOT just for Christmas – or so Waitrose thinks! as it launches a brand new light golden Italian chocolate chipped version topped with pastel sugar decorations for Easter.

Just when we thought all of our favourite festive treats were off the shelves Waitrose surprises us with launching a Panettone for Easter.

So let us introduce you to 600g light golden Italian cake which contains chocolate chips of and is topped with dark chocolate and pastel coloured sugar decorations.

This is the second festive inspired cake from Waitrose as in 2017 it also announced the very popular Hot Cross Bun version.

The Panettone will cost £10 for 600g which will be able to serve up to six people.
