Visit Stirling’s Winter Festival And Santa’s Parade

Visit Stirling’s Winter festival this year which runs from 14th November until 1st January 2017 and hosts a series of special events over the festive season.

Focusing on families, fun and putting a fresh twist on old favourite, Stirling has something to keep everyone entertained this Christmas. Events include A Night to Remember on Hogmanay with fireworks and entertainment for all ages in the city’s King’s Park.

On November 15th there is Santa Parade and Christmas Light Switch On which starts at 2:00pm which see’s Santa and his reindeer leading the traditional parade down King Street to the Thistle Shopping Centre and will be there until 2:20pm, after that it is the Christmas lights switch on hosted by Central FM at 5:00pm which will be switched on by The Thistles Shopping Centre competition winner at the bottom of King Street.

On January 1st there is also Stirling’s Resolution Run which is a free family-friendly run on New Year’s Day to start off 2017 the right way.
