When Is Christmas 2016?

The official countdown to Christmas is already on however ‘when is Christmas 2016’? This year Christmas day will be on Sunday 25th of December.

In 2015 Christmas day fell on Friday however as this year is a leap year we jump over Saturday and say ‘Merry Christmas’ on Sunday instead.

The next time Christmas day will fall on a Sunday will be in December 2022!

It looks like this is an early Christmas gift for many as most will get a extra long holiday due to Christmas being on the Sunday.
