I love thus idea
I cut them up and the children make pictures or tags with them!
I turn them into Christmas present tags for the follow Christmas as well as recycle the ones I don’t use.

I recycle , I sort through those that will make tags or in some cases a new card are gifted to the school. Those that are left are taken to our local supermarket who collect cards for charity.
I am a foster carer and use our cards for cut outs for the kids life story books
Most recycled, some used by grandchildren for whatever takes their fancy

I keep any handmade cards and the card from my husband, I recycle the rest 🙂
Some I give to our local Primary school and the rest I cut around and use as Tag’s for Christmas Present’s the next year.
