It has been revealed that the Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Peter Andre was paid twenty thousand pounds to turn on the city’s Christmas lights and to do a 30-minute performance.

According to the Perth city council revealing the fee to tax payers could jeopardise celebrity bookings for future events, however for some the performance and cost has been branded as “extortionate”.
