Joe McElderry to star in Aladdin this Christmas

X Factor and Popstar to Opera Star champion Joe McElderry is to take the lead role in Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre production of Aladdin this Christmas.

Running from December 10th, 2016 to January 22nd 2017, this will be Geordie Joe’s fourth panto, he previously starred as Cinderella’s Prince Charming, and the Spirit of the Mirror in Snow White and and Seven Dwarfs.

Joining Joe on this magic carpet ride will be ‘Slave of the Ring’ Lisa Riley, best known as Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle. Follow Aladdin, his brother Wishee Washee and Widow Twankey on this lamp-full of laughs adventure.

With more star casting on the way this will be Wolverhampton’s biggest pantomime.
