Marks and Spencers Filming Christmas Advert

Marks and Spencers have been spotted filming its Christmas advert in London, after transforming the square into a winter wonderland.

Pictures from a park in Islington show staff spraying the streets with fake snow to transform the area. A helicopter has been seen arriving packed full of perfectly wrapped presents.

An insider said: ‘M&S are desperate to beat John Lewis and Sainsbury’s this time round – that’s why they’ve spent a fortune on helicopters and the most picturesque square in London,’ according to The Mirror.

For two weeks the area was on lock down as the advert was filmed which is said to go in a completely different direction of last year’s Christmas theme the ‘The Art of Christmas’.
