Mariah Carey To Take ‘All I Want For Christmas’ To The Big Screen

Mariah Carey who is best known for having an incredible voice and maker of the hit song ‘All I Want For Christmas’ has been confirmed to be taking the hit song to Hollywood!

The movie is set to be an animation and will go straight to DVD. Titled ‘Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You’, the movie is produced and narrated by Carey herself, and follows the tale of a young Mariah who longs for a puppy under the Christmas Tree (see what we did there…)

To prove that Mariah is capable of looking after a dog, she must babysit a rough, scraggly dog called Jack. According to Universal Pictures, “Naughty Jack turns Mariah and her family’s Christmas preparations upside down in hilarious ways,”

Speaking of the movie, Mariah said: “I am thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families,”

All I Want for Christmas is You will also feature the voices of Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) and Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls).
