Pret-A-Manger Releases It’s Christmas Sandwiches Range

Pret has announced it’s brand new Christmas sandwiches for 2017 and prior to the release Pret’s chefs stayed late in the kitchen last night to donate the first sandwiches to homelessness charities.

The charities were the very first to get the new Christmas Lunch Sandwich – a classic recipe of British free-range turkey breast, crumbly pork, crispy onions, fresh spinach and port and orange cranberry sauce. Also in the range is the Veggie Christmas Lunch Sandwich which combines roasted butternut squash, nutty Christmas pesto and peppery rocket served with a spoonful of yoghurt and mayo dressing plus there is a brand new Vegan option this year at Pret.

50p from all three of the Christmas sandwiches will be donated towards the Pret Foundation Trust as it continues to help alleviate homelessness.

“We love seeing how much joy the return of our Christmas menu brings to customers each year, and it’s no different for our charity partners and their clients,” stated Nicki Fisher, Head of the Pret Foundation Trust.

“This year, we wanted to celebrate with a few charities we’ve been supporting for many years. It was fantastic to be able to give their clients the first taste of our Christmas sandwiches, and they certainly seemed to hit the spot!”

“The Charity Run is such an important part of our business and, thanks to the support of our customers, we’ve donated over 3 million meals already this year.”
