Walkers sparks Sprout debate with new Christmas advert

Walkers has launched a new Christmas advert to find out if we’re a nation of sprout-lovers or not. Watch the full advert below.

The new advert which airs from 12th November will showcase its first ever Brussel Sprout flavoured crisps to bring the sprout debate to life. There will be two new Christmas flavoured multi packs, one which will include Brussel sprouts flavour for the sprout lover or, for those who don’t want sprouts in their life can choose an alternative. The advert, will have Gary Lineker as narrator, followers Sprout Lovers and Sprout Haters on Christmas Day, to see what we really think of the traditional Christmas vegetable.

Andy Hawkswell, Marketing Manager at Walkers, comments: “This year, Walkers wanted to bring some magic to Christmas and spark debate across the nation. The new flavours have already got the nation talking, and the sprout-filled TV campaign will further fuel that debate, with the use of #SproutLover and #SproutHater. We’re confident that the new Christmas TV ad will ensure that the Walkers Christmas flavours are front of mind with shoppers, ultimately driving sales for retailers as we enter the festive months.”

We’re willing to give them a try….we think!
