The anticipated festive flick, scripted by Emma Thompson and themed around the music of George Michael, tells the story of aspiring singer Kate (Emilia Clarke) who works in a year-round Christmas shop as an elf, becoming friends with Tom (Harry Golding) as he helps regain her confidence.
