Could Radio 1 play Christmas music in June?

Could we be hearing the delicate sounds of ‘IT’S CHRISTMAS’ this June on Radio 1? As Aldi asks Nick Grimshaw if he’s up Junemas!

Browsing through Twitter for anything Christmas related, as you do, we came across a tweet from Aldi to Radio 1 host, Nick Grimshaw, which asked if he was up for doing Christmas this summer, the tweet said:

Hey @grimmers, a little birdy told us you’re up for doing Christmas in Summer this year – you up for some #AldiJunemas fun?

Now, although we’re just speculating, could this be a great big nod to grimmers getting the festive tunes banged out on Radio 1 on June 25th as part of Aldi’s Junemas event

We know what station we’ll be tuning into on June 25th…just in case.
