Celebrate Christmas In The 1800’s At Blists Hill

Christmas has gone back to the 1800’s for the town of Blists near Ironbridge throughout two weekends in December as they celebrate with music and festivities of the 1800’s.

Over two weekends in December (3-4th December & 10-11th December) the townsfolk of Blists who will be celebrating Christmas of previous centuries with a Christmas choir, horse drawn carriages, santa’s grotto and even some reindeer.

The event will also feature a ‘perfect Victorian Christmas Card Scene’ which will show a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree and gifts. Event goers will also get to see a punch n Judy show which was typical of the entertainment during the 1800’s.

You will also be able to view and purchase some original and unique gifts at the museum’s shops.
