Christmas Gift Review: Take Flight This Christmas With Motion Control Drone By RED5

Who wouldn’t want their very own drone to fly this Christmas? We’ve been kindly sent the Motion Control Done for review, here’s our thoughts on this gadget.

Motion Control Drone

Elaine from our team has always wanted to try out a Drone and was more than happy to review, she said: “When I first saw the Motion Control Drone it looked easy to setup and a lot of fun to try out.  Following the instructions I  connected the battery and placed the drone on flat ground, installed the batteries to the controller and pressed the ON/OFF button, when the LED light on the drone began flashing which meant the drone was ready to use.

I held the drone, which was light and comfortable, horizontally as per the instructions, pressed the ‘K’ button and the quadcopter began to automatically take off. It didn’t go too high or too low as it kept the same height throughout using. I tilted the remote forward, backwards, left and right to get used to how it moved and then began moving forward and backward to make the drone fly. It was amazing.

I pressed the ‘K1’ button which allowed me to adjust the speed. There were three different speed settings, low, medium and fast I tried all three but I preferred the medium speed. Landing the quad I decided I would then try the 3D Eversion and Throwing Stunt feature which was lots of fun to do. I made sure the flying height was over 2 metres and fully charged and pressed the ‘K2′ and leaned the controller right, left, forward and backward to perform lots of fun stunts.

Overall I thought this drone was easy to set up, did everything it said and was so much fun’
