Luxury departments store, Harrods has now opened it’s 2016 Christmas shop making it 24 days earlier than last year.
Christmas is in full bloom at Harrods as it launches it’s (very early) festive doors. This is not the earliest the high-end British store has opened as in 2012, 2013 and 2014, opened it’s doors in mid July and in 2015 it was not until 28th August. Confirming on Twitter Harrods full blown Christmas department is to launch officialy on August 26th.As you will expect the huge 2,000 sq ft space is expected to be crammed with baubles, tinsel, gifts and food including Hugh – Harrods 2016 Christmas Bear which you can buy online today.
At the moment Harrods online has added Xmas food and drink and is set to add Christmas to the rest of the categories very soon.
This year Burberry is set to collaborate with the department store for it’s anticipated Xmas windows and if rumors are correct this years theme will be “A very British fairy-tale”.
Update: Harrods Christmas Grotto will be running from November 4th until December 24th, however you will need to buy tickets starting from £10.
