Although not confirmed, it’s likely that once again this year, Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on Christmas day. Call the Midwife Christmas Special
Filming has started for series 9 of Call the Midwife and it’s two Christmas specials. 2019’s Christmas special will see the team take their work to the Outer Hebrides. Led by Mother Mildred, they embark on a trip to the remote yet idyllic Scottish island, where residents have a desperate need for nurses and midwives.

The Great British Bake Off Christmas Special
Although Channel 4 have not completely confirmed the festive shows a Q&A with Prue and Paul revealed that a Christmas Bake Off is happening.

Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special
Gavin and Stacey will return this December on BBC One, this was confirmed earlier in the year with James Cordon, Rob Brydon, Melanie Walters, Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman all back for the one-off show.

Take Off with Bradley Walsh and Holly Willoughby
Bradley Walsh and Holly Willoughby will host a brand new BBC Christmas TV special making wishes comes true. Air dates and times have yet to be confirmed however we can be guaranteed lots of laughs and fabulous prizes.

Alan Carr – The Price is Right and Play Your Cards Right Celebrity Special
Funny man Alan Carr will be back on our screens as it’s confirmed two new Christmas specials of The Price is Right and Play Your Cards Right will air during the festive period. Dates, times and celebrity guests have yet to be confirmed.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are back with a one off Christmas special on ITV this Christmas. With old and new classic being sung by the duo, who will also be joined by well known faces, get your TV planners ready as this will be one NOT to be missed.

Miranda Hart returns for a one-off special, Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration, which was filmed at the London Palladium in which the cast and crew take a fond look back at some of their favourite memories from the past ten years.
Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs at Christmas – Thursday 26th December
Paul O’Grady returns once again to Battersea Dogs and Home. This year, Paul’s enlisted to help dogs with behavioural problems. There’s a reclusive pup called Misty who refuses to leave her kennel, a grumpy Yorkshire terrier called Teddy who refuses to walk and an American bulldog who’s lost her mojo after years enjoying pub life.
