VTech Innotab 2

Earlier this year, Vtech announced the successor to the very popular Innotab which of course is going to be called the VTech Innotab 2. What exactly can the innotab do? The new tablet will have a built-in 1.3 mega pixel camera, self portrait lens and editing software and the ability to add special effects. Kids can use the images in a different range of games. Not only does this vtech toy have all of this but there is also a built in microphone! The Innotab 2 will still have all of the features everyone loved about the first one including 5 inch screen, educational features which helps develops core skills such as reading, spelling, maths and lots more. You will also be able to play games and will be available in both pink and blue. The Innotab 2 is due for release in August and is set to cost around £85.99.

LeapPad 2

The original Leappad was crowed toy of the year in 2011. Now for 2012 LeapFrog have officially confirmed the release on the LeapPad 2 which is also due out in August. It will feature higher resolution front and back cameras and video recorders. The new faster LF 2000 processor and double the memory to 4GB. The leapfrog leappad 2 is housed in a durable kid-friendly design. It also has improved battery life and includes free content such as a music player which has five Learning Songs, Cartoon Director creativity app. It is expected that the by the end of the year the content library will feature more than 325 games cartridges, apps, videos, music, eBooks and more. The Leappad2 is compatible with the Explorer cartridges and leapfrog App Centre digital content. The LeapPad 2 is expected to cost around £89.99.

    I think the LeapPad2 looks like it will last the day to day bashing my 5 yr old son will give it.
    Love the fact its got a music player & 2 cameras! How cool is that.
