Ready, Set, SNOW! Dress up with friends, family and colleagues this December for Elf Day and help Alzheimer’s Society beat dementia.
Whether you pull up some stripy socks, or sparkle head-to-toe, all that matters is raising money this Christmas to help the 850,000 people currently living with dementia in the UK. If you’re stuck for costume ideas, Alzheimer’s Society’s online shop has plenty of ideas available to buy at shop.alzheimers.org.uk.
Alzheimer’s Society needs more funding to discover breakthroughs that will have a life-changing impact for those living with dementia now and will help create a world without dementia in the future. As well as raising vital funds for research, Elf Day will also help to overthrow old, stigmatised attitudes about dementia and help deliver gifts of support to people in need. Also, this year, the Alzheimers Christmas carol concert is set to go ahead on the 15th of December. Go along in-person or enjoy virtually and sing-a-long with the joyful choir to all your festive favourites.
