The group who sold 70 million records across the world will launch their tour at a gig at Glasgow’s Barrowlands on Sunday, December 20th.
Speaking about the reunion lead singer Les McKeown joked that they would be incorporating the infamous fight which was the band break up in Japan in 1987 into their future sets.
He said: “We’ve actually been talking about adding in the fight as part of our show because no one would be expecting it.
“We all said some hurtful and nasty things back in the day but we’ve decided to move past it and leave it in the past.”
He added: “When we look at the reality, we say to ourselves jokingly that we’re doing it for the money but deep down we’re doing it for the fans, the glory of Scotland and the glory of the tartan.
“We’re doing it to take the tartan around the globe and see our fans once again before we’re too old.”
Drummer Derek Longmuir will not be part of the new band while the confirmed members still hold hope of guitarist Eric Faulkner joining soon.
