The BBC has revealed further programming details as part of a year-long set to mark the 250th anniversary of one of the world’s most loved composers – Beethoven, this is also likely to include a massive Christmas line-up too.

Beethoven Unleashed will delve into the life and music in a year-long season of shows to mark the 250th of the birth of Beethoven himself.
Airing across BBC Channels and Radio, the new programming includes: Being Beethoven: a three-part series for BBC Four which tells Beethoven’s life story in the present tense, Live performances of Beethoven’s music from the BBC Orchestras and Choirs and A Beethoven marathon on BBC Radio 3, presented by Donald Macleod.
With shows airing throughout the year it’s VERY likely a raft of Christmas themed programmes will also air.
Although not confirmed by BBC, one of the key dates to look out for are between 14-18 December where we can expect the festive programming to begin as part of the Beethoven And Beyond series.
Beethoven Unleashed will air across BBC this 2020.
