Apple and sharp citrus notes are what make this 2019 Chablis a lovely accompaniment to white meat, veggie roasts and cakes. Our team said, “If you’re into a dry Chardonnay this ticks all the boxes as it is very crisp and refreshing and would make a great stocking filler for any aunt or uncle!”

South Africa’s signature white grape is a great go-to for your Christmas parties, our team said: “A very light taste of melon and white peach makes this Chenin a very enjoyable drink and would make a great Christmas party goto. We found it easy to drink and for the affordable price we’re definitely buying for any festive do’s we attend”

Our team said: “This should be drunk with food as it’s not your average all-day drink! With a dry but full-bodied taste of deep black fruits, this goes down very well with a veggie or meaty Sunday roast”

Our Team said: “Smooth, elegant and rich is how we would describe this bestseller from Asda, you can instantly taste brambles, cherry and oak notes all of which make this a delight to the pallet. It has a lot of depth, left a slight vanilla aftertaste, and was not too dry.”

Multi-medal winning status gives confirmation that Co-op’s Pinot Noir is certainly one we want at our table this festive season. Our team said: “Surprisingly this was lighter bodied than expected and even had a little spice to it. Packed with black cherries, we felt this also had a slight cherry and raspberry taste. A lovely violet/plum-ish colour really is sure to give you the wow factor this Christmas.”

Sourced from old bush vines that are dry-farmed, this wine preserves traditional winemaking in Campo de Borja and has notes of red berries. Our team said: “We adore how pale this dry rose is, it has a nice creamy palate and although dry, didn’t leave that acidic taste.
