Captain Sir Thomas Moore, popularly known as Captain Tom, is a former British Army officer known for his achievements raising money for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic and is described not only as a hero but also a ‘one man fundraising machine’.

We’ve all got our fingers crossed for Captain Tom to star in the 2020 John Lewis Christmas ad.  Get ready to get the tissues out!
