This year’s CBeebies Christmas show will take place at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh with Hansel and Gretel.
It’s the first time the show has been recorded in Scotland and will see the adaption of fairy-tale classic Hansel and Gretel.
Four live theatre performance will be recorded in Edinburgh across the weekend of 26th-27th October with a special Christmas programme airing on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 7th December. The performance will feature many CBeebies’ most popular actors and presenters and for the very
first time, Waffle the Wonder Dog.
Families will also be able to experience the magic of the Christmas show on the ‘big screen’ as it airs in cinemas across the UK with additional exclusive content.
The first theatre tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Thursday 19th September with a second wave released at 10am on Thursday 26th September. Tickets will cost £15 for adults and £10 for children. Under twos go free on knees.
