Channel 4 announces Quentin Blake’s Clown for Christmas

Channel 4 has commissioned Quentin Blake’s ‘Clown’ for December 2020 which was inspired by a book of the same name.

The half-hour animation brings a little toy clown’s adventures to life as he goes on a journey to find a new loving home for himself and his friends. Narrated by Helen Bonham Carter, this animated Christmas special shows the tale of a box of once-loved toys which have now been discarded and the journey to find them all a home.

Quentin Blake’s ‘Clown’ is a heart-warming story that is told through an illustration of a clown who has been thrown away with other old, unwanted toys who set out on a journey to find a home for himself and his new friends.

This animated Christmas special will have both adults and children captivated by the amazing illustrations throughout the book.
