Christmas is the most exciting time of the year, but what action-packed releases have the soap bosses got in store for us in 2020?

Soap fans just can’t wait to find out what’s going on on Albert Square this Christmas. Will it be a happy, festive time for the residents of the square? So far we know that Chantelle will meet a tragic end at the hands of her abusive husband Gray, but will he get found out at Christmas?

Will Frankie Lewis kidnap Ollie, Mick and Linda Carter’s son?

Now that Mick and Linda are no longer behind the bar at The Queen Vic where are they living?  Max Branning is set to leave the square in a storyline due to air in December and it has been confirmed that a character will be returning for long-running Christmas storyline, but who will it be?

Keep clear of Winter Wonderland as Derek Milligan launches an armed siege, someone’s going to die, but who will it be?

If there is another nationwide lockdown show bosses have confirmed that a stand-alone bubble episode would be filmed so there would no need to worry Corrie fans, the Christmas episode will go ahead.


It looks like it’s going to be a busy Christmas at Emmerdale as we see the return of Kim Tate, Tracy Shankley’s birth and a big turn in the Belle and Jamie saga.
