Get ready for Winter Warmers and Christmas classics as John and Lisa are back with a new series of Weekend Kitchen for Christmas 2020 and they’ll be kicking off with everyone’s favourite – bread.
Who wouldn’t love to kick off your weekend with a tasty egg and sausage muffin for breakfast – we certainly would. Just the sound of this breakfast sizzling in the pan would make anyone drool and we could hardly wait to taste it.
Parents and children alike love a chip butty! But who could resist Lisa’s spiced potato and paneer wrap served with hot onions? Known in India and Pakistan, Paneer is better known in other countries as cottage cheese.
John adds extra deliciousness to the winter warmers with his pulled pork buns along with a zingy coleslaw and who wouldn’t love to find a delicious lemon and blackberry brioche bread and butter pudding for dessert?
The show will see three-festive themed shows in December with all the trimmings including making the perfect Crab Cocktail, Lisa’s Ultimate Nut Roast and a fantastic ‘one tray wonder’ – a Christmas Dinner Tray Bake.
