Introducing, Weird Things Humans Search For – the card game where the aim is to guess the most popular endings to a host of Google search results. Suitable for 3 or more players with a recommended age of 14+. Play as teams or individually but we loved playing with a larger older group basically because the answers got a little cheeky!

Setting up and getting started is pretty self explanatory, simply pick a Search Master who is in charge of the cards, scoring and handing out pencil and pads to each member. Once the search master has drawn a card and read aloud the search term it’s up-to each player to discuss what the answer might be and jot down a main and bonus point answer – you’ll have to hurry though as you only get 1 minute to talk through before putting your answer down.

Once everyone has put their answers on paper the search master reads all the correct answers on the search card for everyone to hear. Now each team member reveal their main and bonus answers to the rest of the players, this is when the game comes into its own as the results are hilarious.

If a team’s answer is top of the list – four points are scored, if its anywhere on the list then 2 points are rewarded and if they do get the bonus answer they get one point. If a team’s answer is top of the list – four points are scored, if its anywhere on the list then it’s a 2 point reward and if they do get the bonus answer they get one point. Once everyone has read their answers points are given out and then the search master jots them down.

Holly from UnderTheChristmasTree took it to a friends house, here’s what she thought: “Firstly googling searches is something we all do and I can safely say I’m no exception, but I honestly have to say even these results surprised me. With 5 of us playing (myself as Search Master) I handed out the pencils, papers and poured a glass of vino, it was time to get started.

The first card – Are Ant and Dec…. got us all going with the giggles, nothing to do with the wine what-so-ever! setting the 1 minute time limit to think, everyone then jotted down their answers – with quite a few being totally wrong. From, Are Ant and Dec doing X Factor to a correct answers of are twins.

Mandy one of our players (and from UTCT team) correctly guessed twins and also got the bonus point as she jotted down, I’m a celebrity, making her win 3 points. After five rounds of much hilarity at the silliest of answers, Mandy did win as she scored a total of 15 points. Overall this is the ideal party game especially after Christmas day dinner or with friends for a not so quiet night in – Think an updated version of blanket blank/family fortunes and you won’t be far wrong”
