Fingerlings Untamed Raptor Dino is the ferocious friend that reacts to sound, motion and touch and we were kindly sent Untamed Dino Razor to review, here’s our thoughts:
When Untamed Dino arrived at UTCT HQ, we thought he looked very “sweet” and Katy from our team happily put this toy through it’s paces. Katy said “When Razor arrived in the office, I was more than happy to review as it had been named as one of Argos’ top toys for Christmas and after reading the instructions thought it looked like a lot of fun. The first thing I have to applauded WowWee toys for is including batteries! There is nothing worse than getting a brand new toy home to find out that the batteries are not included.
Firstly this little fellas name is Razor who looks every inch the fierce dinosaur with his purple exterior and pointy teeth, he was only a little scary. As per the instructions I placed the Untamed Dino Razor onto my finger which felt very secure plus it had no sharp edges to make it feel uncomfortable. I then pressed the ON switch which was at the back of Razors head and was instantly met with a wild roar, which was pretty loud! There are two different modes Untamed and Tamed, to set this in untamed mode I simply tapped his face three times and for tamed mode I stroked it’s head and nose.
I could easily interact with Razor as there is a number of ways to hear the 40 different sound effects such as, tapping razor on the nose three times to hear some fun reactions, pressings and holding the back of it’s head to hear a mighty roar and by clapping my hands twice for even more surprise reactions, but I won’t say what these were as I don’t want to spoil the surprise! Cradling Razor, he fell asleep and looked so peaceful.
Overall Fingerlings Untamed Raptor Dino Razor was a lot of fun, with the two modes to choose from and all of the different sounds and interactions that Razor could do, I can see that this really will be a popular choice for kids this Christmas.”
There are four different Raptor Dino’s to collect Blazer, Stealth, Fury and of course Razor. Collect all four of these and take your adventure to the next level. These are suitable for ages 5 years and up, already includes batteries and can be bought from Argos for around £16.99 each.
