Elaine, part of the team loves to have copious cups of coffee and she couldn’t hold back her excitement when the De’Longhi Dedica EC685R coffee machine arrived our office. Below are her thoughts below:

I have a small kitchen and much as I enjoy a hot cup of coffee I really don’t have enough space for a large ground-coffee machine. The very thought of having to lift it in and out of my kitchen cupboard every time I want an espresso, makes it way too much trouble.

Fortunately the slim De’Longhi Dedica EC685R took up very little space so I was able to leave it out for all my friends and family to drool over as I made them a quick, hot, delicious espresso.

I couldn’t decide which of the 3 sizes of dishwasher safe glasses I should use to serve their coffee, would it be the 60ml espresso, the 190ml cappuccino or the lovely 220ml hot milk and coffee glasses all of which came separately packed?

Needless to say the 220ml coffee glass was my favourite, could it be because it was the biggest glass?  I found the Dedica easy to use and clean and feel that the De’Longhi Dedica, which measures height 30.3cm x width 14.9cm x depth 33cm, is both stylish and value for money.  I particularly liked the silver colour of the machine and felt that as it only has three functions it was easy to use and with voltage of 220 – 240v it is quick to heat up – an absolute essential when I need a coffee –NOW!!

I really liked that the coffee machine, which comes with a 1 year warranty and has a maximum power consumption of 1300w, wasn’t as large and clumsy as I thought it would be and inside the box was everything (except the coffee) that I’d need to make full use of it.  Weighing in at 4.2kg,  it surprisingly didn’t take up too much worktop space which meant that I could leave it as a permanent fixture in my small kitchen and even more importantly,  once it was  switched on, it very quickly made a really good, hot cup of coffee – mmm just what I needed!

Overall I was impressed with the De’Longhi Dedica EC785R Coffee Machine, I loved the sleek design and the coffee tasted amazing, I would recommend this machine to all of my family and friends.”
