Christmas Gift Review 2019: ROKiT IO PRO 3D

Fun features, good battery life, large screen size and no need for 3D glasses are some of the Rokit IO Pro 3D key highlights, plus costing just £249.99 this is lower than all other major smartphone brands on the market.

Holly tested the phone and shared her thoughts with us: “Firstly I was quite surprised at ROKit launching a 3D phone as 3D is not very popular at all in fact most TV’s and cinemas don’t bother showing 3d any longer, however I was more than happy to give it a go.

Without the need of 3D glasses, hallelujah! you can download the Rokflix app and watch three dimensional films and video clips. After downloading, I was amazed at how much content there was including free, pay-per-view and the latest box office hits – perfect for when I’m wrapping Christmas presents.

The phone itself looks stylish and works superb however it didn’t particularly take the best photos which I was a little disappointed in especially as it has a Dual 13MP+2MP rear and 8MP selfie camera. One of the major plus points however for me was the large screen size, fingerprint sensor to log in and the battery which charged within a couple of hours and lasted ages, very handy when taking calls from friends and family during the busy festive period.

Unlike other mobiles Rokit IO Pro 3D comes with free (for three months) Value Added Services such as international WI-fi calling, breakdown and recovery and injury cover, again I’m not sure I would need these after the three months however they may come in useful for the meantime.

Overall I personally did like the smartphone, especially its sleek carry case and for the price of £249.99 this is certainly cheaper than other smartphones I’ve previously purchased. As for 3D, although a nice added feature I personally won’t use this very often however I can see how kids and grandparents looking to experience this technology would keep them entertained, plus the device is also unlocked so you can add your own sim.”
