Kevin McCallisters scream from Christmas classic Home Alone has been announced as one of the most recreated scenes by Brits with the “flying-Scene” from Titanic taking top spot according to a new study by Panasonic.
It’s highly unlikely that you or someone you know hasn’t tried to recreate some of the most iconic movie moments, heck we do Kevin McCallisters scream everytime the weekend hits.
According to Panasonic who asked almost 2000 Brits if they had ever attempted any of the iconic moments, six of out of ten said yes!
As you will expect the Dirty Dancing “lift” came out on top with 41 percent attempting when on holiday or in a swimming pool.
Not all movie moments have had a happy ending as 12 percent of Brits have been told off at work, 27 percent have embarrassed their other half and a staggering one in twenty have even been thrown out of a pub – all for recreating movie scenes.
Rob Taylor, Head of TV, Panasonic UK comments: “Bringing Hollywood to life seems to mean as much to consumers as it does us. Most of the movies in this list are pretty iconic and the image of Brits recreating these big budget movies whilst in their local surroundings certainly puts smiles on faces.”
