We here at UTCT are all for keeping the spirit alive throughout the entire year so when we heard that Cinderford still had their Christmas decorations up, we just had to let you know all about it.
Cinderford had a lot of new decorations for their Christmas Tree this year in comparison to last year and while we think they looked glorious, it seems the town forgot to think of a storage solution for their festive additions.

Sadly, the lights will now be taken down over the next week (Sob!) after new storage solutions have been put in place.
Speaking of the lights, Mayor of Cinderford ‘Max Coborn’ said:”They will be taken down within the next week. There wasn’t a plan in place when we originally got the lights so it has taken a while after Christmas to sort storage out.
Mr Coborn continued by saying:We had quite a lot more this year than we ever have had in the past. When the originally arrived from Gloucester we had to store them in the council chambers.”
Thanks to a donation of storage to the council are able to store the lights safely which comes as a relief after the lights were donated to the town by Gloucester after being voted the ‘worst christmas lights in the country 2014′.
We’re sad to see the lights go! Do you take down your decorations quickly after Christmas or do you prefer to keep them out for as long as possible? let us know in the comments below!
