David Walliams ‘Ratburger’ on Sky 1 this Christmas

Best selling author, David Walliams is to have another of his hilarious novels shown on Sky 1 this Christmas 2017.

Ratburger is an action packed novel about a little girl called Zoe who has a stepmother that despises her, a dad who’s never around and has a miserable time at the hands of Tina Trotts the school bully and to top it all off evil Burt from Burt’s Burgers is after her only friend Armitage, a pet rat that can dance.

Evil villain Burt, who wants to put Armitage into the mincer to make rat burgers, will be played by David Walliams. Also staring with David in this gruesome comedy are Mark Benton (The Halcyon, Waterloo Road), Nigel Planer (The Young Ones), Sheridan Smith (Cilla, Gavin & Stacey, Miss Biggs), and Ben Bailey Smith (Law and Order: UK).

Ratburger update

Ratburger will air Sunday 24 (Christmas Eve) December at 6pm.

This Christmas children will be able to watch their favourite book come to life, as three-time Children’s Book of the Year winner, David Walliams’ wickedly funny novel [amazon_textlink asin=’000745354X’ text=’Ratburger’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’theboldblakbe-21′ marketplace=’UK’ link_id=”] is to be shown on Sky One and Now TV.

See David Walliams as as evil villain Burt and Sheridan Smith as the horrid stepmother, as you’ve never seen them before and get a taster of this hilarious and gruesome tale.
