Eastenders stars, June Brown, Lacey Turner and newcomer Riley Carter Millington were all spotted in Hertfordshire filming scenes which will be aired over the festive period.
Filming in advance, the scenes won’t air until the festive season when it’s believed the new character who will be called Kyle – will become a permanent fixture on the show.
Details of what the storyline will be are being kept under wraps but the storyline will see Riley become a permanent character on the BBC soap.
Speaking about the role Millington says: EastEnders is Millington’s first professional acting role since leaving drama school. He said: ‘I am extremely excited to be joining EastEnders. I can honestly say that I have now fulfilled my two biggest dreams – to be living my life as a man and to be an actor.
‘I cannot wait to really get stuck in with filming and I look forward to seeing what is in store for my character.’
