Eastenders Tops Festive iPlayer Ratings

Christmas is the time of year we migrate through to the living room after a very carb heavy meal, the pyjama bottoms are on, the party hats have gone amiss and it’s finally time to watch some Eastenders. It seems we’re not the only ones who did just that, as Eastenders tops festive iPlayer ratings.

We’ve all been there, vegging on the sofa waiting for the acceptable time of day to get a ‘Christmas day sandwich’ and flicking through the television channels for some entertainment. It seems as though many of us turned to Eastenders as our entertainment over the festive period as it tops the festive iPlayer ratings with more than 1.6 million people requesting the first festive episode.

In fact, Eastenders dominated 6 out of 10 of the list with Peaky Blinders, The Apprentice, Mrs Browns Boys and Doctor Who also included.
