Dust off the lametta and brush down the glitter as you haul out last years festive thread and prepare to take part in this years Christmas Jumper Day. Organised by the Save the Children charity, you can take part on Friday 16th December.
Merriment will be sweeping the nation’s homes, school’s and workplace as we ditch our boring old clothes for extravagant Xmas jumpers and hilarious costumes all for a very meaningful cause, helping to save a child’s life.
All you have to do is wear or even make your own Christmas jumper and donate £2 (£1 if your at school) or if you want to buy another knit you can now! as stores such as M&Co and Matalan are already stocking them!
Plus this year you have an excuse to eat pizza as Papa John’s will dough-nate™ 50p to Save the Children for every XXL pizza sold, including its limited edition festive pizza. This will start on from 21st November 2016 to 2nd January 2017. WHSmith will also take part by stocking two Christmas Jumper Day bears called Benji and Bruno and will cost £4.99 with £1 off every bear sold being donated to the charity!
Celebrities including James Corden, Jack Whitehall, Fleur East, Myleene Klass, Jess Wright, Jon Snow and many more will be taking part.
