Friday Night Dinner star reveals his favourite episode

Friday Night Dinner star Simon Bird has revealed that his favourite episode to film from the last 10 years was the Christmas special.

Celebrating 10 years of Friday Night Dinner, Channel 4 talk to stars Tom Rosenthal and Simon Bird all about the show and what was there favourite episodes to film. Tom Rosenthal said his favourite was the episode he was sitting down most for while Simon Bird has said his favourite was the Christmas special.

When asked Simon said: ” The Christmas special was great. Partly because there was something impudent about making a Jewish Christmas special. But mainly because it was the only time the whole gang, including Grandmas, both Horrible and Nice, were in the house together. It felt like a real family Christmas.”

We wonder if they will make any more Christmas specials of the show? Friday Night Dinner: Ten Years and a Lovely Bit of Squirrel airs Friday 28th May, 9pm on Channel 4 and will be followed by the public’s top three favourite episodes.
