Has EastEnders revealed this years Christmas Day storyline? as the Carter family hope to have Mick out of jail and back before the big day.
Will the Carter family reunite over Christmas day dinner?

Mick Carter was last night thrown in the back of a police car and arrested for Stuart Highway’s attempted murder, however, before his big exit for a crime he didn’t commit, Linda gave some thought to Christmas:
She quizzed: “Do you think we’ll be back by Christmas? I mean we will be back by Christmas.”
This wasn’t the only time the big C was mentioned, as The Queen Vic landlord (Danny Dyer) said: “It’s down to you to get me out because I’d like to be home by Christmas.”

Fans of the soap took to social media to express their thoughts, with some hoping the Stuart Highway storyline would long be finished before the festive season. One user tweeted:
Two Christmas mentions now. Not a good sign for this story line ending any time soon #EastEnders

However, fans have spotted a major glitch (well done soapy’s!) as Danny Dyer who plays the ‘Jack the Lad’ character Mick, has been confirmed to reprise his role as ‘Mr poppy’ in the hit show Nativity! The Musical, this will last all the way up until January – could this prove he won’t be returning back to The Vic for Christmas day?
Who knows what’s in store for Albert Square this Christmas Day, however, we can expect more drama and a whole lot more of angry Shirley!
We can’t wait for Christmas TV soap viewing.
