Make This Christmas Eve Box A Family Tradition

Christmas Eve is one of the, if not the(e) most exciting night of a child’s life.   It’s a time of family traditions and there is no other evening in the whole year that is as magical as Christmas Eve. We we kindly sent this to review.

Elaine from our team put her hand up first to review and give her thoughts on this Christmas Eve box, here’s what she had to say:

“To make it even more special (if that is possible) I’ve always given my children a Christmas Eve gift.  This is a tradition that began when the girls were small and I’ve carried it on ever since. As they’re now well into their twenties I wasn’t sure that they would want to carry on the tradition or if they’d outgrown it.

How stupid was I? Outgrown our Christmas Eve tradition – you have to be joking. When I suggested giving it up there was total uproar in our house – in fact I turned into the evil elf that ruined Christmas.

Christmas Eve is a night filled with magic and in order to redeem myself I searched for that special something that would add an extra sparkle to the night (and get me out of the dog house).

Luckily I came across the perfect idea – a Christmas Eve Box from Sue Ryder.  Available in two sizes, and priced at just £14.99 I chose the smaller of the two which measured: W35 x H18 x D20cm, the larger box costs an extra £5.  I felt these were money well spent and  filled each of the three rustic boxes (one for each daughter) with Christmassy pyjamas, a toothbrush, a hot chocolate sachet and a Christmas inspired book.

The wooden boxes (and the contents) were a huge success. The girls liked the fact that ‘Special Delivery from The North Pole’ was written on the side of the box and the top of the lid reads, ‘Open me on Christmas Eve’ and features a special North Pole Air Mail stamp to complete the nostalgic Christmas look.”

All the family agreed that the Christmas Eve Boxes from the Sue Ryder online shop made a great addition to our Christmas Eve tradition and they should (will) be brought out every year!
