Netflix announces A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

If like us you just can’t wait for the festive movies to start creeping onto our screens, then you’ll be as excited as we were to hear that Netflix has announced that A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby will be here around the festive season.

This will be the third movie in this collection, following on from the original 2017 release, ‘A Christmas Prince’ which told the story of Amber who went undercover to get a scoop on the prince – needless to say they fell in love. The movie became a huge success and the sequel ‘A Christmas Price:The Royal Wedding was released a year later.

Netflix’s description for this forthcoming third film reads: “It’s Christmastime in Aldovia – and a royal baby is on the way! Amber and Richard host royals from a faraway kingdom to renew an ancient truce, but when the priceless 600-year-old-treaty disappears, peace is put in jeopardy and an ancient curse threatens their family!

2017 saw the release of A Christmas Prince which featured Amber, an ordinary girl who fell in love with a prince – the year that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met.

In 2018, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding was announced which just happened to be the same year that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married.

2019 sees the release of A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby which once again follows the lives of Prince Harry & the Duchess of Sussex as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.

We’re starting to get a little deja vu here and feel that all three movies seem to follow the lives of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now known as the Duchess of Sussex, as they prepare for their lives together.

As yet there is no announcement regarding the release date but as it’s a Christmas movie, start watching out for its release around November and December 2019.
