Channel 4’s Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country has been recommissioned for a second peak-time series and Christmas special.

Summer may well have begun (although it’s still been super cold at times!) but that doesn’t stop Christmas TV from being announced, so far Call the Midwife, Abominable Snow Baby and A Boy Called Christmas have all been confirmed for the festive period and now we can confirm that Channel 4’s Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country is back for another series AND Christmas special.
Following Sarah, her husband and their four sons, the show will see the family fitting their seven-bedroom house interior on a tight budget.

Outside the house, Sarah and Graham want to learn traditional crafts and skills that are practiced by local artisans, plus, they also want to encourage the family to try and grow more of their own veg, add more animals to the family’s menagerie, and install a camera into their owl box to learn more about the local wildlife.

Dates and time for the series and Christmas special have yet to be announced, however, once they do we’ll keep you up-to-date.
