Perfect stocking fillers for Kids this Christmas for £20 and under

November 3, 2018 by Under the Christmas Tree Leave a Comment

Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the traditional stocking, however it doesn’t need to break the bank! Here we’ve put together our tried & tested gifts for kids for under £20.

Kids will want to find ALL of these in their stockings!

Guardians of the galaxy illumi-mate £7.99

Guardians of the galaxy illumi-mates £7.99

A must have for all Guardians of the Galaxy fans, Groot illumi-mate will be your new bed side companion on those dark nights. Arriving in his ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ purple box, Groot is the ultimate 3D Colour changing light. Here at UTCT HQ we tested it when it was a little darker and thought Groot was full of character, gave a good glow and we loved how he changes colour from red, to orange and green automatically. Our highlight was how portable and cool to touch he was. Perfect for taking away to friends or families houses over the festive period.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot illumi-mate will cost £7.99 and can be found at Amazon UK

Razor Fingerlings £16.99

Meet Razor, the Fingerlings Untamed baby Velociraptor! Suitable for children age 3 and older these are the ultimate stocking filler for kids. Razor reacts to sound, motion and touch. Katy tried Razor out earlier in the year and she said she loved the two different modes to choose from and all of the different sounds and interactions that Razor could do.

Razor Fingerlings will cost £16.99 and can be found at Argos

Elves Behavin’ Badly Naughty Elf Money Box And Bedtime Clock

Elves Behavin' Badly

It’s that time of year when Santa will be sending his elves out to keep a check on the behaviour of children everywhere and he has also thought of a few new genius ways to keep a check. Mandy from the team said: “The Naughty Elf Money Box is a great way to help kids learn when they are misbehaving as for every time they misbehave they could place 50p into the jar.   If they are behaving, the kind elf who watches the money box could add in some money to let them know Santa and his elves are pleased with their behaviour.

Another great way Santa knows if your behaving is with the Elves Behavin’ Badly Bedtime Clock. This is another great way that will let kids know what time their bedtime is and if they don’t do what mum or dad says then the elves will report back to Santa.”

Elves Behavin’ Badly Naughty Money Box and Bedtime Clock can be bought online and more information can be found here.

Mini Hornit Light and Sound Bike accessory £14.99

Red and Blue Mini Hornit

If your child likes to ride their bicycle then the Mini Hornit Light and Sound Bike is the must have accessory. Holly put it to the test and said: “No wonder this won three toy awards on Dragons’ Den, it has 25 very loud and clear sound effects, white and green lights and has wings which easily attach to any size handlebars. What I really appreciated was the design as it’s completely safe to use while riding as there is no need to remove your hands from the handlebars due to the remote. Fun and safe, parents won’t worry about their children not being seen or heard.”

Mini Hornit Light and Sound Bike will cost £14.99 and can be found at www.thehornit.com

Really R.A.D Robots Yakbot

Really R.A.D Robots Yakbot

Really R.A.D Robots Yakbot you’ll just have to roll with it! This ball of fun will be able to answer your questions, remember your questions and even talk back with your own warped voice. Mandy from our team said: “OK my favourite part, hands down, was the prank feature, much to the annoyance of  the rest of the office. “Yak-Bot” is a solid toy which you can roll around and did I mention that it also warps the sound of your voice to 3 other types too? Yes seriously! Lots of fun and will be sure to put a smile on your child’s face, it did mine!”

Really R.A.D Robots Yakbot will cost £14.99 and can be found at Argos

Thinking Gifts Book Monster – £24.99

Monster Book Kids

The Book Monster is the perfect way to use your tablet, books, eReaders and more. Holly from our team said: “First of all I absolutely loved the design of the Book Monster, it has two big eyes and fang teeth at the bottom of the Book Monster which I thought kids would really like. The holder is fairly sturdy, it is comfortable to sit on your knee and really does keep your device or book in place, I had no worries that my tablet would slide out of the bottom or off to the side. This is a great way to make sure books, tablets, eReaders etc do not get broken!

Thinking Gifts Book Monster can be bought online for £24.99 here.

Treasure X single pack

Treasure X single pack

Have fun digging out your character and gold through 10 levels of adventure! John from our team gave it a go and said: “For a tenner this makes a great stocking filler especially as you can rip into it straight away without having to set up. Digging out all of the parts and putting them together was exciting however it can become a little messy, but who cares as it’s all part of the fun. Includes brick, skeleton figure, treasure chest with treasure plus much more. Overall once I had completed all the levels and uncovered the gold I could easily have started again for more fun.”

Treasure X Single Pack will cost £9.99 and can be found at Argos

Cadbury Chocolate

Cadbury Hollow Santa

Chocolate is a must for Christmas and Cadbury’s have announced a fantastic new line-up which will drop into stockings quite easily. Choose from Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo Faces, Milk Buttons and Fudge Tubes – we did of course test each of them and have to say – yes! These wouldn’t make it into our stocking as we’d gobble them up first.

Cadbury Chocolate is available to buy from Tesco Groceries

The Snowman by Michael Morpurgo, Illutrated by Robin Shaw £12.99

The Snowman by Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo plays homage to Raymond Briggs’ classic The Snowman for a new generation of readers as it celebrates 40 years after it was first published. Bringing James and all of his snowy friends to life, this story will melt your heart. Throughout the book, illustrations have been drawn to capture the magic of the original story. The perfect book for families to snuggle up to on a cold winters evening.

The Snowman by Michael Morpurgo will cost £7.68 and is available to buy from Amazon.

Sure to smiles on your little one’s faces, we can’t wait to see what’s inside our Christmas stocking!
