Get ready for luxurious locks as we put Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies Egyptian Jasmine and Mandarin to the test and why it would make a great Christmas gift.
Mandy from our team reviewed this product.

My hair is dry, overworked, and let’s not even talk about breakage so when Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies landed on my desk, I couldn’t wait to give it a go, especially as these are some of the areas the Elasticizer is supposed to help with.
Firstly I’m going to highlight just a few key points, for no other reason than I can’t believe just how many awards and endorsements this brand has. Its creator Philip Kingsley, Trichologist aka hair Doctor (who has now passed away) won countless awards for the Elasticizer, was on Opera and now sells one unit every 1 minute.
The hair-care product has loads of celebrity fans which include Kate Winslet, Georgia May Jagger, Renée Zellweger and even ‘The Breakfast at Tiffany’ star Audrey Hepburn who loved the product so much ordered pots and pots to be sent over to her home in Switzerland.

Now I’m not one for buying the hype, but Audrey Hepburn? I’ve just got to give this a go! The packaging is full of vibrant colours and gives a feeling of luxury from the very beginning, plus the easy opening means no horrible rips trying to peel open and destroying the look of the box.
The 150ml tub of deep-conditioning treatment was surprisingly very lightweight to hold and I loved the fact that a shower cap was included, no more of having to re-apply as half of the product has been washed out when your showering!

This is best done before shampooing, so I wet my hair thoroughly and took a big blob (way too much as usual) and worked through my hair, now when it comes to scent this is very refreshing and full of citrus notes including Mandarin and Egyptian Jasmine if you are sensitive to smell this may be slightly too strong, but for me, it was the perfect wake me up in the morning.
After around 15 minutes I washed the treatment out of my hair and carried on with shampooing etc. When I was ready to brush through and blow-dry, my hair was soft and still smelt so good, plus it didn’t feel heavy and full of product.

I’ve used this twice this week and I can already see that my hair had less breakage it was full of shine and looked so much healthier. Overall I personally loved Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies Egyptian Jasmine and Mandarin, and at £36 (for 150ml) I can tell a little goes a long way.
Get this stuffed into your stocking this Christmas!
