Pret A Manger has brought back its much-loved Christmas sandwich for a limited time after being inundated with messages from customers who missed out last December.
The iconic sandwich has hit the shelves nationally from Tuesday 6th July, helping to bring some festive cheese to customers in July.
To celebrate, Christmas legend and Slade lead singer Noddy Holder stars in a new video heralding the return of Pret’s CHRIIIIIISSSTMAAAS sandwich.
Served up with thick slices of British turkey in a port & orange cranberry sauce filled with herby pork stuffing, baby spinach leaves and finished with a dab of free-range mayo.
50p from every Christmas sandwich sold will be donated to The Pret Foundation, which works to alleviate poverty, hunger and homelessness for the past 25 years.
Clare Clough, UK Managing Director of Pret A Manger commented: “Every year customers ask us for the Christmas sandwich to return earlier and earlier, and after many customers missed out on having one last year we’ve decided to stand by our mission of spreading joy through our food and coffee, and bring our iconic Christmas sandwich back early for a limited time this summer. While we can’t change the weather or the football scores this summer, we can help people celebrate and recreate some festive joy by reuniting them with their favourite Christmas sandwich.”
For vegans and veggies, Pet will share the Vegan Nut Roast recipe on their social channels to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the taste of Pret Christmas.
We can’t wait to get one of these tasty sandwiches!
