BBC has just announced that they are to launch a live Saturday morning TV show for kids.
Many parents will remember the fun and mayhem caused on Saturday morning tv shows such as Noel Edmonds’ Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Going Live! and Saturday Superstore.
These celebrity packed shows were hugely popular back in the day and it’s no surprise that the Beeb is going to revive these favourite kids (and adults!) Saturday morning programmes with an updated version to be called Saturday Mash-Up.
The show will be kicking off on the 30th of September 2017. Not only will it be shown on the CBBC channel, it will be on shown BBC Two as well. This live Saturday entertainment extravaganza for kids will feature celebrity guests, games, sketches, gunge and some of CBBC’s favourite shows, alongside CBBC favourite, Hacker T. Dog, who will be on hand to add his own unique take to each week’s proceedings.
Saturday Mash-Up will go out on Saturday mornings from 30th September 2017 on CBBC. Will this be the new destination for 6-12 year olds on a Saturday morning and will there be a special episode on December,23rd? We’d certainly like to think so!
