With nearly four months until December, merrymakers at Selfridges have thrown open its London doors to unveil ‘phase ONE’ of its Christmas shop with ‘phase two’ to launch September!
There may still be 147 sleeps to go until Christmas, but a bit like ourselves, Selfridges are in full festive mode as it launched phase one of its London Oxford Street Christmas shop, where shoppers can browse through carefully curated selection of products dedicated to London.
Covered in festive cheer, this year theme “With Love From…” celebrates the magic of the British cities the store calls home. You’ll be able to purchase exclusive and themed products which celebrate all thing British including over 25 London inspired decorations.
Shoppers on September 4th will be able to browse through over 130,000 dazzling products from each of the stores main themes – Champagne, Regal, Extrovert, Story Book and Deep Enchantment and with over 50,000 baubles and EIGHTY cracker options to choose from this could take more than one afternoon!
Everything from tinsel to a £300 Diptyue Advent Calendar will go on sale at the Oxford Street store in London when phase two is deployed in September.
This is the second time the store has launched in July as back in 2011 it also opened around the same time, however this is the first year where Selfridges will be launching a capsule collection of some of its greatest Christmas food hits on Friday.
Good news for Christmas pudding lovers as you’ll be able to purchase this for five months rather than just 10 weeks as normally its Christmas food selection launches in October.
This Winter Selfridges have a host of unforgetabble experinces in store including the opening of the second phase Accessories Hall and The Selfridges Corner Shop (both open October 31st) and if that wasn’t enough in November you can have a dance-off with Santa and even enjoy surprising live performances throughout the 10-day Let’s Make Merry at the end of the month.
