Sky Cinema Launches Christmas TV advert 2017

SKY Cinema has today launched its Christmas TV advert which celebrates family movie traditions. The heart-warming ad tells the story of a mother and daughter and the Christmases they spend together over the course of 25 years. Watch Below:

Starring Maimie McCoy (Grantchester, DCI Banks and The Musketeers) as the mother, and sisters Billie (4 years old), Dolly (7 years old) and Beau (10 years old) as the daughter, the ad begins with a wide-eyed four year old watching the iconic The Sound of Music and takes us on a journey through the years of being a teenager, a gap year before reveling the daughter is now a mother herself, starting a new cycle of Christmas move traditions.

Everyone has a Christmas tradition and watching the same film year on year is something many will identify with. There will be a total of 3 ad’s from Sky this year which follow the same story-line, the second will focused on a letter to Santa with the last taking us through the doors of a themed advent calendar, providing insight at some of the new premiers available on Sky Cinema.

Sky Cinema Christmas will take over from Sky Cinema Drama & Romance on Wednesday the 8th November, we’re getting our planners at the ready.
