Have you ever seen a cross between a lion, tiger and a lemur? No? Neither had we until we met Lancelot, the interchangeable animal from Anagranimals who is king of the jungle. We were kindly sent these to review.
Soft toys are always a huge hit at Christmas but after a few weeks you notice your child’s “new best friend” shoved under the bed never to be seen again. However with the new range of Anagranimals your little one can swap bodies, legs and arms to create an animal never seen before with the use of the magic Velcro.
Lancelot or should we say “Prince of the Forest” is one of six that you can collect from the cuddly gang and with a total of 216 possible combinations, you can keep little hands busy during the winter months.
Based on the popular children’s books, each toy arrives inside a colourful box which have a woodland design. Turning the box around you will meet the rest of the gang – Pedro the Pig-Orilla-Roo, Ebenezer the Ele-Zeb-Zee, Heidi the Hippo-Croco-Puss, George the Gir-Osti-Duck and Rocky the Rhino-Para-Rog.
Suitable for children age 0+, Anagranimals are very soft to touch, easy to mix and match and will also teach young children different animals types. Winning Best New Toy award at this year’s London Toy Fair these would make great gifts for toddlers this Xmas.
You can purchase Lancelot and the rest of the group from around £19.99 each.
Lancelot certainly made an impression in our office and we can’t wait to try out different combinations, our next one is for Santa so we were thinking pig head (as Santa likes to eat too many mince pies) Parrot wings (in case his sleigh breaks down he can still deliver presents) and for his feet, duck feet – for no other reason than we think it would be funny!
