Speaking of the upcoming special, Gatiss explained the offerings as: “a Christmas episode without being overtly Christmassy – it’s very happy-sad”
He continued by saying;- “[It’s] a fantastic episode and we had a great time doing it. It was a lovely way out.”
There are also new rumours that previous Doctor Who assistant Jenna Coleman will appear in the special, however this has not yet been confirmed. Other rumours state that Bradley Walsh could be the new Doctor’s assistant although this has still to be confirmed by the BBC.
